UP PCS J 2024 Syllabus for Prelims

The prelims examination of UPPCS – J is composed of two objective-type papers (1) Law, and (2) General Knowledge. Which aim to assess the candidate’s fundamental understanding of a broader legal concept and its application and general awareness of India’s historical, social, political and economic condition.

Uttar Pradesh Judiciary syllabus: Paper 1

As we have seen above, the UPPCS J pre-examination has two papers. Paper 1 is general knowledge, objective types, and multiple-choice questions. It has a maximum mark of 150 to be answered in 2 hours. It includes questions on the following topics:

UP Judiciary pre-examination paper 2 is objective types, multiple-choice questions related to law. It has a maximum mark of 300 to be answered in 2 hours. It includes questions on the following topics:

UPPCS J Exam Pattern 2024

In this section, we have a brief look at the examination pattern of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Judicial Service Examination (UPPCS-J). UPPSC PCS J exam is divided into three:

  • Preliminary 
  • Mains and 
  • Interview 

UPPCS-J pre-examination consists of two papers of objective types while UPPCS-J mains-examination has six papers. The mark-wise breakup and nature of the question asked are mentioned below.
