Exam Pattern for UPSSSC Stenographer: Latest!
UPSSSC stenographer exam has following two stages (1) Objective based written examination and (2) Shorthand and Typing Test.
The first stage of examination is consisting of a single paper of objective types multiple choice questions. It has 100 questions each carrying 1 mark to be answered within 120 minutes. One of the most important things to keep in mind is that UPSSSC stenographer exam has a provision of negative marking. ¼ of the marks allotted to a question will be deduct for each wrong answer. UP Steno syllabus is divided into five parts each consisting of different topics such as Hindi knowledge and writing skill, General mental ability, General Knowledge, Computer, information technology, and latest development in the field of science and tech and General knowledge related to state of Uttar Pradesh. UPSSSC Stenographer Syllabus Part-1 Hindi Knowledge and Writing Ability
UPSSC stenographer syllabus for Hindi knowledge and writing ability paper consist of 30 questions up to the level of Intermediate Examination of Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh. Though the commission has not elaborated on the subtopics of Hindi syllabus, it may consist of following topics.

This subject of UPSSSC Stenographer Syllabus has least weightage. Only 15 questions will be asked from topics listed under this section of syllabus. UPSSSC Stenographer Syllabus for Computer and information technology has following subtopics

UPSSSC Stenographer Selection Process 2024
The UPSSC stenographer exam has 2 stages, The first is multiple choice objection types written examination of 200 marks followed by Hindi typing and shorthand test. The shorthand test requires minimum speed of 80 words per minute and the Hindi typing requires minimum impression of 25 words per minute. Only those candidates who qualify above two stages will be called for document verification.
